Easy Veg. Hakka Noodles Recipe

Hey guys, this is me Sushmita Singh , and welcome to my today's recipe
Well today I'm showing you absolutely a Chings Veg Hakka Noodles recipe. Well first things is to get the noodles right. Well I have vegetarian noodles here, they're called Hakka noodle.
How to boil our noodles?
Let's slide in the noodles, I'm also adding in some salt because of course it's starch and we want it to be well salted. Remember the fact that the water of course is going to be drained out completely, so this now needs to boil on high flame of course in salted water for 5 minutes.
What is Difference between Noddle and Spaghetti?
Some interesting and useful information is what difference is between Noodles and Spaghetti. Both are popular in two different countries. So, let’s start. Today, first we have noodles. Noodles are originated in China where these are made and consumed for thousands of years. Noodles are made with fine flour of common wheat. Salt is also put while making the dough. Fresh, Dried boiled and fried versions of noodles are being sold in the market. However, this dried form more popular in India. This kind of noodle is boiled before sautéing. Here, you can see boiled noodles. Then boiled noodles are stir-fried with vegetables or non-veg. This kind of noodle preparation is very popular in India from street vendors to fine dining. This kind of preparation is also known as Hakka Noodles. Apart from this preparation, noodles are also used in soups, fries and salads. Noodles are very popular throughout south-east Asia. That is why thick and thin variants of noodles also very popular over there. Noodles are also being made with other grains such as Buckwheat and rice flour. Various brands of this noodle are available throughout in India. The price of 150 gm starts from Rs 25/-.
Our second product is Spaghetti. This is kind of Pasta from Italy. The shape of this is quite similar to Noodles. The main difference between spaghetti and noodles is the process involved in their manufacturing. Spaghetti (at least traditional one) is always made up of semolina of durum wheat. Salt is never added while preparing the dough. Spaghetti is also boiled before preparing any dishes. Here, Spaghetti has al dente experience. That means it is cooked to be firm to the bite. This is also how boiled spaghetti is different  from boiled noodle. Boiled spaghetti is often cooked in their popular forms i.e. white or red sauce apart from salads. Spaghetti is less popular in India as compare to noodles. However, this is easily available in the departmental and general stores. The price of 500 gm starts from Rs 130/-. Spaghetti and Noodles are very popular in every age group. However, it is very well-liked by children and youth. Noodles are eaten with a chopstick in Asian countries whereas spaghetti is always eaten with a fork. We hope our today’s information will be useful in your everyday life.

From the 5 stars restaurants to roadside street food, Vegetable Hakka Noodles is very popular and yummy Chinese food across all of India and is often served in parties and restaurants as snack or main course. But, I'll not wait for a special occasion to eat the hakka noodles. So Vegetable Hakka Noodles is an Indo-Chinese recipe that is made by tossing boiled noodles and stirring the fried vegetables with Chinese sauces which gives its signature taste and texture. Alright, let see how it is prepared.
I use Ching's Secret Veg Hakka Noodles and I think they are perfect for this recipe. You can easily find them in all Indian supermarkets. By the way, you can make this recipe even healthier by using whole wheat noodles. If you prefer, you can add and add some of the vegetables with baby corns, mushrooms or any other vegetables of your choice.
This recipe is quite healthy and yummy since they are loaded with veggies and when they are fried they give an enjoyable crunchy texture along with sauces that gives a distinctive flavor.

INGREDIENTS :-
  • Noodles - 1 packet
  • Hakka Noodles Masala - 6 tbsp
  • Onions - 2 medium sized chopped
  • Cucumber - 1 roughly chopped
  • Refined Oil - 5 tbsp

METHOD :-
  • Take a utensil and add minimum 5 cup water and boil it.
  • When it comes to boil, put noodles and half teaspoons salt. And boil for maximum 5 minutes. Don't boiled it more. Just we need is that it will break when we press it.

  • Now, heat a wok / kadhai and add 5 tbsp refined oil.
  • Ohh great! Oil is hot, add chopped onions and green chilli.
  • Saute it, until the onions become translucent or saute it for 2 min on high flame.
  • Than aad chopped cucumber and saute it for 1 min on medium high flame, don't over cook it.
  • Than add hakka Noodles masala 3 tbsp and give a stir.
  • Now add the boiled noodles and give a nice stir so masala and noodles get mixed perfectly.
  • Cook it for 2 min on medium-low flame.
  • Than again add 1 tbsp masala and give a nice stir. Add 4 tbsp water and give a normal stir.
  • Now your Hakka Noodles is ready in 15 minutes. Turn off the flame.
  • Serve it hot with tomato ketchup. Enjoy your noodles.

To serve, this recipe is usually served with tomato or green chili sauces. Now vegetable hakka noodles are generally eaten on their own, but some people prefer to have it with some side dish. So you can serve them with Veg Manchurian or Gobi Manchurian. Hope you like this video. Don't forget to hit the subscribe button. And do try this out and put your comments below.
