Make sure that the baking soda you are using is active.And to check it, you put a little bit of baking soda in the water and lemon, it will leave bubbles very soon if it is not leaving bubbles that means it is not active and fresh.
Now here comes the matter of chocolate, what kind of chocolate should we use here. I have used dark chocolate in it which is slightly bitter in taste, please use good chocolate. Otherwise the taste of your choco lava cake may spoil.If you are thinking that the dairy milk chocolate that we eat everyday can also be used, then friends, sorry but you cannot use it, it will not give us that taste of Choco Lava Cake. I also asked my sister, have you ever eaten this, does it taste good. So this is how I ate Choco Lava Cake for the first time.
Now let me tell you when I first ate Choco Lava Cake. I ate it for the first time in domino's. Everybody goes to Domino's for the first time to eat pizza. I also went to eat pizza. But, I read Choco Lava Cake in the menu chart, so I thought why not try it because I love chocolates very much. The most interesting thing is that my sister had never eaten it, then we thought that why not to try it today. After that when I came home, I found a recipe for it. And the very next day I made it but the taste not that much good. A few days later, I tried again friends and this time I became so tasty. It will probably be 10 or 12 times that I have made it and today I am sharing it's recipe with you guys... Sorry for late...
If you want to bake it in oven, than preheat oven at 180°. Than bake it for 10min at 180°.
But I will suggest you to make it using steamer because by this the chocolate will melt nicely and not become hard. There is little chance that in oven it become hard.

- All Purpose Flour - 1/2 cup
- Water--1/2 cup (chilled)
- Vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Butter
- Refined oil - 3 tbsp
- Sugar - 3 tbsp
- Salt - 1pinch
- Choco powder - 2 tbsp
- Baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- Dark chocolate - 2 piece
- Take a small bowl and grease butter over it. Keep it in refrigerator.
- Now take a glass and add : Chilled water, Refined oil, vanilla extract, Lemon juice and sugar. Mix all. This is our wet ingredients.
- Now for dry ingredients.
- Take a bowl and add: Flour, Choco powder, salt, and baking soda.
- Mix all ingredients and than add the wet ingredients.
- The batter for this lava cake recipe has medium-thin consistency.
- Now bring tha bowl which we had kept in refrigerator.
- Pour the batter in the bowl. Keep 2 tbsp batter side.
- Add a dark chocolate piece in the middle.now add the remaining batter.
- Prepare a steamer to bake the cake. Boil water in any utensils and cover it. For 5min.
- Now put the choco lava cake bowl inside the utensils and cover it.
- Bake it for 5 min. Check it with a toothpick.
- Let the chocolate lava cakes cool for two to three minutes.
- Invert the bowl on a serving plate. Gently tap the bottom of the bowl. Remove the bowl gently and the cake gets unmolded easily.
- Now serve it hot.. 😍
