So, let's begin with today's tricks , let's get started!

1Using Cling Wrap

When using a cling wrap, it can be difficult to pull the sheet out and usually it tears for that, always keep it in your refrigerator. Whenever you want to use it, simply take it out and it'll come out easily, use and keep back in the fridge!.

2. For Biryani Rice

To make biryani, we cook it on a low flame, which usually means the rice gets stuck to the bottom of the pan. For which, you can keep a tawa below the pan. I've given that tip in all of my biryani videos but even if you do that, sometimes the rice may stick to completely get rid of that problem. Cut thin slices out of  a potato lay them on the bottom of the pan, the rice won't stick at all! and your biryani will be amazing and won't be burnt at the bottom. Great!

3How to peel a Ginger?

If you're using a peeler to peel ginger, a lot of it gets wasted instead use a spoon. And it'll peel right off.

4. How to store Green Chilli?

To store green chillies, wash and  dry them with a kitchen towel or tissue, then remove the top part and lock them in a glass container/steel container. That's airtight store it in your fridge you can keep them fresh for at most a month.

Whenever, we make dosa batter due to fermentation or heat, a smell develops, to get rid of that smell, use chilled water this will ensure there's no smell at all!.

6How to store raita and keep it fresh?

Whenever we make raita and store it in the fridge. And when you serve, it can be a little sour in taste. So when you make raita next time in advance, add your masalas but not salt. Add salt when you are serving the raita. You can also mix 2-3 tablespoons of milk it will never get sour!.

7. Cutting Bell pepper.

To cut bell peppers correctly, cut off the top part and remove the seeds never cut from above,to cut them smoothly, cut through the inner skin.

8. To store Banana for longer period

When we get a bunch of bananas, they rot quickly because bananas release ethylene which rots them really quick. For this, separate them and  cover the top of every banana with a silver foil paper, make sure that the banana's top is covered with foil completely. You can store them for longer they won't rot that quickly.

9. To store Curry leaves

To store curry leaves, wash them and  dry them up with a paper towel or kitchen towel. Than moisture should vanish and they should be completely dry, put them in an air tight glass container. Place a paper towel or tissue paper on top  of container and close! store in the refrigerator the tissue will ensure no moisture will go inside. You can store these for 25-30 days.

10. To make a perfect Paneer at home

When we make paneer, it may not always be as soft as the one you get at the market or it may smell a bit. To make paneer, let milk boil switch off the flame. When it is boiled, add lemon juice or you can add vinegar, mix well and you'll see that the water has separated from the paneer. Place a filter on a bowl, or place a kitchen towel on top of that and filter out the paneer from the water. Squeeze out the remaining water and  dont throw away this water. You can prepare whole wheat flour doughs with it or put it in a curry. You can use it for baking or to make upama! it's a very nutritious item, store it in your refrigerator. Wash the paneer with chilled water, so it gets really soft and it doesn't have a lemony or tangy smell.  Now place any heavy weight on top of it(over the cloth) and within a few minutes, market like paneer is ready!.

11. To store Salt free from moist.

When you want to store salt, especially in monsoon season. Just put 10-15 kidney beans in the jar. It'll ensure that the salt doesn't go bad or just place 2 biscuits this is very useful during monsoon seasons.

12. Easily peel off Garlic

To easily peel off garlic, smash it with the flat part of the knife. Some of the cloves will come out automatically for the remaining, remove the extra skin and for 1-2 minutes place in warm water. Peel them off easily!.

13. To avoid Butter to be Burn while cooking

Whenever, a recipe requires us to use butter. Add  little oil with the butter and cook on low to medium heat, to avoid butter from burning.

14. To make Curry Thick.

Whenever your curry or gravy gets thin or flowy.  You can ofcourse add boiled potatoes but you can also do this: mix some water with rice flour and put it in your gravy to thicken it!.

15. To hard boil the Eggs.

To perfectly hard boil eggs, put eggs in hot water. Water should be enough to sink eggs  or it should be an inch above. When there's a good boil in the water, cover with a lid and switch off the flame. Keep aside for 15 minutes, after 15 minutes take them out and place them in chilled water. You can easily peel them off and they're perfect hard boiled eggs.

Whenever we peel or cut arbi/kattal(taro), our hands might get irriated or itch. To prevent that, spread some oil across your palms and peel away! No itching..

19. Don't want pasta to be sticky.

When you boil pasta put some oil, so when straining they don't stick to each other, also wash them with cold water, after straining. So they don't stick at all.

20. To melt butter without heating.

sometimes we may forget to take out butter from the fridge before use. Sometimes we don't have the time to let it come to room temperature. For that, grate butter- as much as you want , mix with a butter knife and in a few seconds, you have bread use- ready butter. You can just pour hot water into a glass, discard it and cover the butter with the glass for about 1-2 minutes. It'll come down to room temperature due to the steam inside the glass.
